Privacy Policy

Color Collector

Nekohara Noshi (the “Operator”) sets out this policy for the handling of user information in the Color Collector app (the “App”).

1. Information We Collect

The App does not collect information that directly identifies you—such as your name, email address, phone number, contacts, or advertising identifier—on the Operator’s servers. No account registration is required. However, Firebase Analytics sends the usage information described below to Google.

2. Camera and Photos

The App uses your device camera to identify colors. It accesses images in your photo library only when you choose them. Camera images and selected photos are processed on your device and are not sent to the Operator’s servers.

The App does not independently store your original photos. When you choose to save an item, the App adds the color swatch or palette image you created to your device’s photo library.

3. Information Stored on Your Device

Saved colors and palettes, names you assign, favorites, display order, and Pro purchase status are stored on your device. This local data may be deleted if you uninstall the App.

4. In-App Purchases

Pro purchases are processed by Apple’s App Store or Google Play, depending on your device. The App does not obtain or store payment details such as credit card numbers.

To confirm or restore a purchase, the App may receive a product ID, purchase status, purchase token, or transaction information from the applicable store on your device.

5. Advertising, Analytics, Tracking, and Sharing

The App contains no advertising. It uses Firebase Analytics, provided by Google LLC, to understand usage and improve quality.

Firebase Analytics automatically collects app interactions such as first launch, session start, and engagement time; device, OS, app type and version; approximate region; and an anonymous identifier generated for each app installation. Approximate region is derived from the IP address. The App does not set a user ID in Firebase Analytics or collect advertising identifiers. It does not use advertising personalization, advertising tracking, Google signals, or a separate crash analytics service.

Camera images, selected photos, saved colors, color names, favorites, and created or saved palettes are not sent to Firebase Analytics. Usage information is not sold. Google processes information sent to Firebase Analytics as a service provider to provide and maintain the service and aggregate usage statistics.

6. Children’s Privacy

The App does not intentionally collect personal information from users of any age. Children should purchase Pro only under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

7. About Color Results

Color results are estimates. Lighting, the device camera and display, and shooting conditions can affect them. Do not use the App for medical, safety, quality-assurance, or other decisions that require precise color measurement.

8. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated in response to laws, store requirements, or changes to the App. The revised policy and its update date will be posted on this page.
